Natriuretic peptide refers to a peptide which induces natriuresis (the discharge of sodium through urine).

Types include:

Atrial natriuretic peptide: atria
Brain natriuretic peptide: ventricles in humans, brains in pigs
C-type natriuretic peptide
Dendroaspis natriuretic peptide
